Camperguru Approach

Notes and best practices when free camping

  1. To sleep over one night — as a tired driver, should be fine in all European countries.
  2. Roaming & parking — without any equipment outside is more tolerated than full camping.
  3. Camping, wild camping or freecamping — usually stands for taking your chairs, table and awning out.
  4. National park & beaches — It is usually illegal and fined to overnight in national parks of Europe and beaches in southwest.
  5. High season — July & August — is usually more strict than off season in summertime destinations.
  6. What is Your experience?
