If you glance merely at the parking bay at this spot in France, you may wonder why it has been chosen to be featured; there are a few spots for mobile homes and campervans on the edge of a car park for the Tourist Information office in this French village, which sounds underwhelming. However, these spots open out onto a lovely wooded park, with a playground for children. This is not even the best thing. The end of the park leads out onto the most amazing view of the massive winding Loire river.

You can follow hiking trails that bring you directly down onto the river bank and if you have luck and patience in equal parts, you may even catch sight of some busy kingfishers hunting in this vast river.

The village itself is lovely and worth a relaxing stroll through.
Just 100m or so from the camper spots is an amazing patisserie, a must for your morning bread, and it is impossible not to be tempted by some of the other incredible cakes and treats displayed here!

At the camper spots themselves are 6 electrical hookups. The electric is always on and available and costs just 4€ for 24 hours.
This should be paid either at the Tourist Information office, which is the neighbor of the camper spots, or at the Mayor’s house, just a little walk into the village.

There are clean toilets directly next to the spots too, and an area for further mobile home services. The Tourist Information also has a WiFi connection that campers can use, though it needs a password and the office is closed during the off-season.

Ambassador’s Opinion
You'll come for a night and stay longer!
We were really impressed with this spot. Even though it's just a few dedicated spaces in a car park, the forested area on your doorstep, the hiking trails, and of course, the view, makes it feel more like you are staying on a proper camping spot. The village is so lovely too, and the patisserie is irresistable!
