The Quinta produces their own ‘HEJM' wine, mostly reds and rosés and also sparkling ones, a niche market in a predominant Vino Verde (read white) region.

After a joyful tour of the premises, we were offered a free rosé wine from the pink Smeg (!) in the container room.

Sanctuaria de Bom Jesus with the Instagram staircases is only a 12km drive. A vintage funicular takes you to the top if you are reluctant to climb the stairs.
