Bad Rappenau is a small town in the German county Baden-Württemberg, in the neighborhood of Heilbronn. It is close to the highway and features a real spa resort.
Campers are welcomed at the two parking lots and you have all facilities there – electricity and water supply. The pitches are under the trees giving you nice shade in summer. Overnight fee to be paid at the spa resort but if you stay two nights you get one free entrance to the spa.

Stay directly at Salinenpark

The resort itself caters for all patients (!) but there is a strong emphasis on the respiratory illnesses. One of the treatments is a salt infused inhalation program (they have a unique salt wall in their gardens, free to all) and there is a large swimming pool/sauna complex. Upon request you can have a nice shower (paying).

With a tradition of some 170 years, Bad Rappenau is well known for its medical treatments. The village has everything you need when traveling (supermarket, bakery, restaurants etc).

Salt really is key here and you can visit the old drilling towers that pumped the salt water. The gardens around the complex invite you to take a stroll and enjoy the sculptures. Bad Rappenau is also called “The City Of Parks”. With its “Kurpark”,”Schlosspark” and “Salinenpark it is a popular destination for many visitors.
