The best camping spots

Why this matters

Camping is the most wholesome, nature friendly and sustainable way to travel. Global pandemics makes it also the most healthy choice, considering current social distancing and hygienic trends. Do you agree?

We are a group of digital nomads, remote workers and travel families, curating a handpicked collection of magical camping spots, exceptional campsites, convenient aires and interesting travel experiences all around Europe. We think, and live by the principle, that quality outclass quantity and we promote responsible travel, which benefits travellers and local communities alike.

Let’s embark on a journey together. We offer a warm welcome to anyone with a similar passion to ours. Fresh inspiration for seasoned travellers, tips and guides for aspiring campers and safehaven for best outdoor stays out there. This project is our contribution towards making the (camping) world a better place.

Our Philosophy

Goals, values and ideas for a great camping experience

  1. The best camping spots in Europe — we’d like to inspire you to explore great outdoor stays, free and paid, that we consider unusual and, most of all, magical.
  2. Safer and more wholesome — travelling in a camper is more wholesome, compared to staying in hotels and using planes, cruise ships or taxis. You are closer to nature. Let’s help our governments understand the benefits of camping.
  3. Save the camping spots — there are wild camping spots of pure beauty. And we, the campers who stay there, are the main force that can make them thrive. Let’s join this movement together, to achieve a cleaner and more sustainable environment. Our planet is our only home and we have the power to change its destiny.
  4. Communication — we support an open dialog. We’d rather share our point of view with local communities, rather than staying silent and hoping for good results. Not all places, cultures and countries are the same. And that’s a good thing. We cherish diversity.
  5. For the future generations — our children are the future leaders of the world. Help them inherit a planet that is a joy to explore. Take responsibility for their future in your hands. We will try to do the same.
  6. Responsible travellers — we promote self-sufficient vehicles with in-board tanks that are set up to leave no trace.
  7. Common sense enables more freedom — we are in a rather complicated situation. Camping is becoming more and more popular, and not everyone shares our ethics or sustainable behaviour ideals. Let’s work on this!
  8. Benefits for the local communities — think about how travellers and locals can work together for the benefit of both. Most campers can contribute to the communities they visit. Let’s improve this existing cooperation.

It’s personal. We live the camper life.

Vita, Renata and the girls have been travelling around Europe for almost a decade. They tried a caravan, a rooftop tent and a van. They have travelled from Morocco to Turkey. The family combine a brick house with their long-term travels.

Jacob, Lucy and Frankie joined the van life movement more recently, but they left their apartment in Prague a few years ago and went full-time. Exploring Europe beyond the usual comfy campsites, their daily routine involves remote work and raising Frankie.

Alex, Astrid and their kids are seriously considering making the switch. Blockchain and crypto legends leaving the comforts of Madrid and hitting the road? Exchanging safety for adventure? It’s one of the toughest decisions in life to make.
