Overlooked by the mountains
The spacious, green site is nestled in the Bovec valley alongside the meandering, crystal clear, Koritnica river – moments away from the Soca River. It is also just half an hour from the Italian border, this valley is teaming with life from relaxing travellers to singing birds.

Time for an adventure
Water-based sports are the main activity here from kayaking to rafting, but don’t forget the mass of tranquil footpaths and cycle trails too. You just need to follow one of the paths out of the campsite, directly onto the river and from there you can follow the Soca Trail or the Alpe Adria Trail. The latter is a 750km route that connects Carinthia in Austria, Slovenia and Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.

Pull on the hiking boots
Nearby you can take the Kanin Cable car up to the highest peak in this mountain range, Visoki Kanin. Or simply follow the Soča Trail and criss cross the river for some beautiful views.

Onsite Catering
The restaurant is open in the summer months serving all sorts of local dishes including Goulash with Polenta and pear filled dumplings.

Activities for all

Onsite activities include volleyball and a children’s play area. You can also book watersport tours directly on the campsite too.

A site that recycles
Throughout the site itself there are sinks and recycling bins spread evenly in each area. There are two areas for washing, one older and one in a brand new building both with an industrial size washing machine and tumble dryer.

Don’t worry if you have forgotten something
The shop sells all the necessities you’ll need, from camping gas and ice cream (yes, this is a necessity!) to souvenir fridge magnet and t-shirts.

Riverside camping
Only tents can camp directly on the river as there is no road access to this area.
