There are three areas for campervans and motorhomes – in the woodlands, in the bay or along the frontline of the shore, with 150 pitches in total.
Washing facilities for all
The facilities are spotless and have everything that you would need on a campsite including huge washing machines (about €5 per load). There is also a disabled toilet and shower facilities too.

Fruit trees galore
The restaurant is closed out of the height of season but the surrounding shaded green space has a plethora of beautiful and tasty fig trees.
Lake activities for everyone
On an evening you may see fishermen floating on the water, you join in and take your sail boat, or paddleboard on the water too – or hire a kayak from the campsite.

There is a wooden play area for children of all ages. It is far enough away from the main campsite to not disturb others.
Explore the birdlife from the boardwalk
There is one walk from the campsite and this is along a short boardwalk overlooking the lake and the bird reserve. Outside of this, for walks you will need to drive a few minutes to a more interesting area.

There are about 251 species of birds that live here throughout the year.

They offer mobile homes with one or two bedrooms which all overlook the lakeside.

Forgot something? There is a mini supermarket on-site and a Plodine is only 2 minutes by car or under 10 by bike on one simple road.

The campsite in September was nice and quiet, during the day most people take their bikes out for a cycle ride around the lake. It got a little busier during the weekend, but during the week it was very tranquil.
