A choice of two excellent parking areas for your camper
There are two great parking areas at the entrance of Smögen island, Sweden. Easy Park Stallplats is the easiest option since you can pay using their user-friendly app. Park and Stay has the better location next to the fjord. Overnight stay is allowed and garbage collection is organized. At night the cars are checked if payment is done. There is an ICA supermarket across the road if you want fresh bread in the morning.
Smögen town is at biking distance, walking about 30min. The city tends to be a bit ‘posh' with fancy restaurants and bars, with boats docked at the wooden jetties to be admired by the tourists. The colored row of boat houses at the end of the fjord is the most photographed site in South Sweden.
The main attraction lies in the Sandons nature reserve at walking/cycling distance from the parking lot. It is one of the most beautiful parts of the Swedish ‘skerenkuste'. Rocky outcrops, red wooden beach huts, and blue sea. There is a great natural lake with jetties and ladders for swimming. In season it's a great spot for picking berries.
