It is one of the deepest canyons in Europe at 78km in length and 1300 meters deep. From the campsite, the friendly staff can help you organise rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking and mountain biking trips.

The Tara River flows alongside this campsite and you even have your own private beach which is a 10 minute walk away. (It's a bit steep so wear proper shoes).

There are three smaller cabins for rent with two single beds and then there are four larger ones with a double room and a twin room. Each have wonderful views of the surrounding greenery.

Hiking – there's plenty of options in the surrounding area.
The route is on the Via Dinarica which is a network of long-distance hiking trails from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina through to Montenegro, Serbia and Albania. Known as one of the best hiking trails in Europe.

Local activities for the whole family
There are many things to see and places to visit within driving distance including St George’s Monastery (2km away), the Djurdjevica Tara Bridge (25 minute drive), the Black Lake (1 hour drive) and Biogradska Gora Lake and National Park (35 minute drive).
