This campground is found across from the entrance to the Pompei excavations in Italy. Any closer is not possible unless you stay ON the site 😉 It is situated next to a busy road but with quiet nights. Green area with all facilities and excellent pizzeria on site (also take-away). We found the Barlotti farm in Paestum to be a real gem, you can stay there for lunch, and buy their produce (buratta ice-cream, yoghurt and cheese) whilst having a look at the magnificent herd of beasts.
