This is a lovely camper stop provided by the Gasthaus Post. It is a free spot and unlike many free spots offered by pubs, you do not need to eat in the pub to earn your free spot! Of course, almost every camper will do so, and we highly recommend that you do as the food is delicious.

As well as a spot to stay, the pub offers some lovely services for campers too. You can plug in for electricity, there is a toilet separate from the pub toilets, and even a shower! There are delightful wooden huts up on the hillside that you can stay in if you fancy a break from your camper.

Just across the road, there are many cycle paths that you can take, so if you love to get out on your bike you can have a great afternoon exploring here before heading into the pub for dinner. You can also enjoy a breakfast here before moving on. The surrounding hills are so pretty, it’s a lovely drive to get here and a great view too.

Great location and great food!

We don't often stay at pubs or restaurants but we are very glad that we spent a night here! Campers are made to feel very welcome and if you do decide to take a meal or two here, you will not regret it!

Be advised

The spot is just a small carpark on the side of the restaurant to there is not a huge amount of room to manoeuvre. There is not space to set out your awning or chairs – it is really only meant as an overnight spot.
