Deauville is the Parisian get away for the weekend at sea
Think of grand hotels, Catherine Deneuve and other French actors strolling around, and shopping in the fancy boutiques. The horse carriages waiting in front of the famous hotels, fine French cuisine, but a nightmare for parking your van!
A good alternative (200 km drive) is the French town of Le Touquet/ Paris Plage with plenty of parking possibilities, a nice walking/cycling trail into town, and some great beaches. The nature park at the natural harbor ‘La Canche' and the dunes are a reason for returning here. Communal parking La Basse Nord is situated near the yacht harbor.
