The site is open year-round and includes a tour of the lighthouse itself, as well as surrounding buildings such as the keeper's cottages, sheds, boathouses, and a visitor centre.

The visitor centre features a coffee bar, an interactive exhibition, a souvenir shop, and a cinema.
During World War II, the lighthouse hill was used as a German bunker. Because of its strategic location, a small fortress was built with four cannons and later on with a radar antenna. Remnants of the war—trenches, tunnels, and fortifications—are still visible today.

Daytime parking is free, but overnight stays must be paid for at the ticket machine in the parking area.
The good news is that the parking fee includes two museum entrance tickets.
There are no major facilities on site, aside from two free toilets located at the museum entrance. However, if the weather is nice, you'll be rewarded with a truly spectacular sunset.
