Special accommodation
Marina Fuestrup Camp
How about spending the night on a houseboat or in a listed building — a former air defense tower from the Second World War? Both options offer truly unique experiences.
Marina Fuestrup Camp
The houseboat is anchored in a completely quiet corner of the marina and offers a stunning view of the water. It features a spacious terrace, a barbecue, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bright, simple, light-colored interior.
The old air defense tower, on the other hand, is an extraordinary place steeped in history. Perhaps it’s time to leave your camper empty for a night or two and enjoy one of these unforgettable stays.

Water fun
Stand-up paddling, swimming, and other water activities are possible here. Please note, however, that the Dortmund–Ems Canal is still an important waterway for shipping. Vessels always have absolute priority, and it is strictly forbidden to approach them.
Marina Fuestrup Camp
Münsterland is famous for its authentic and wonderful places, such as the historic city of Münster, where the Peace of Westphalia was signed after the Thirty Years’ War in 1648, or Warendorf, with its picturesque square and centuries-old horse breeding traditions housed in listed buildings. The region is also home to many castles and beautifully maintained parks. Between Marina Fuestrup and Münster lies the Rieselfelder nature reserve, where dozens of water birds nest — an ideal destination for a cycling trip. In fact, the bicycle is your best companion here in Münsterland, thanks to the flat landscape, which makes exploring countryside sights easy and enjoyable.
But it’s not only cyclists who will be happy here. If you enjoy walking, there are plenty of opportunities too. For example, the monument “Alte Fahrt”, an old bridge built in 1897 above the canal or the Böckholter Berge forest, can be reached by foot. And of course, morning or evening walks along the canal are simply beautiful.
