The kids will be amazed by three indoor swimming pools and lots of water fun outside — including a nice 25m swimming pool, several water playgrounds, a wild river and water slides.

Bommelwereld is based on the work of the Dutch illustrator and comic writer Marten Toonder, whose creation “Tom Poes en Heer Bommel” has become an icon of Dutch comics. Bommelwereld includes great attractions for children, a cinema, a museum, a hall of fame, a restaurant, and a souvenir shop.
In winter, around Christmas, you can enjoy beautiful light decorations, and an ice-skating rink will be set up.
Not only children will enjoy it here; adults can also spend their holiday with various activities, such as visiting the historic town of Groenlo by a small train that departs from the reception.

You can also go for a walk, bike tour, or play golf, bowling, tennis, or paddle. Of course, you can also swim indoors or outdoors, visit the wellness area with a several saunas and whirlpool, or even go to the hairdresser. The campsite has several good restaurants and a snack bar serving BBQ food, pancakes, Italian food, ice cream, and some Dutch specialties. Marveld Recreatie – Campsite with a long history
The campsite was built by the Bomers family in 1968 on only 16 hectares and later grew to today’s 60 hectares, featuring a water paradise, several restaurants, concert podium and sports courts, a modern luxury hotel, stylish holiday houses, and the amazing theme park. The owner, Mr. Edwin Bomers, is proud of his lifelong work and improves the site every year.
The campsite has 350 grass pitches, all with electricity, 40 with private sanitary building with toilet and shower, and 12 pitches that can accommodate bigger campers.
There are several larger allways spotless sanitary buildings with toilets, showers (with floor heating), laundry rooms, and dishwashing areas, so it’s never too far from your pitch.
The camper service area is located in the center of the campsite. A well-stocked large supermarket can be found behind the reception.
