The campsite started as an excursion company and the emphasis is still on organized adventure trips in the national park.

When you arrive at the campsite, reception may be closed as the owners are often off site, leading excursions and adventure experiences! However, this is not an issue, as a clever system allocates you a spot. When the owners return from excursions you can officially check-in.

Spots are all under trees on a grassy meadow, and there is electricity at all plots. Everything is here to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The Sanitary block was renewed in 2019, with basic laundry and kitchen facilities included. The owners take care of cleaning early morning and during the day.

There is a private beach and a jetty with wood burned sauna, enjoy the lake afterwards!

Rental canoes and kayaks and life jackets are available on site. Norraryds has everything you expect from a typical Swedish holiday! Great excursions in the neighborhood are the large Car Cemetery (recycling in the 70ies) and the IKEA museum found in the world's first IKEA shop (1958, and still a gem).

About half of the campsite is allocated to Nordic Woods, an adventure travel company. This creates a special ‘scout ambiance', their guests' activities provide for all ages for example yoga in a large tipi, wood fire cooking lessons and cold water therapy.
