Park Ostrov is a fantastic camper park with plenty of room, whatever the size of your mobile home may be. The surroundings of this camping spot are really picturesque, and though you may only plan to pop by for a night, you may find that you end up staying a little longer. There are plenty of day trips that can be made with this as your base camp, including the Labe sandhills, which are within walking distance from the spot. Caravans are also welcome here!

Park Ostrov is a new camper parking site in the heart of the deep forest near the rock town of Tiské Stěny.

The place has a truly romantic atmosphere thanks to its location in a green valley surrounded by deep forest, rock walls, and a few fish ponds. It feels almost like the end of the world — there’s no mobile signal (but good Wi-Fi), everything is quiet and peaceful, offering a truly relaxing stay.

There are 50 pitches for campers, caravans, and tents, several toilets, electricity, and a few water taps around the site. Several fire bowls are scattered throughout the area, and you’re welcome to use them with your own wood, which can also be found in the surrounding forest.
The place is very well maintained, fenced, and secured with a gate operated by a code. Everything here works digitally — you book and pay for your pitch online, receive an entrance code, and a link to “Alfred”, an app that helps you during your stay with useful tips for day trips, for example.

Amazing Rock Town Tiské Stěny
The amazing rock town of Tisa Walls (Tiské Stěny in Czech) is part of the famous region of Czech Switzerland, known for its fabulous rock formations.

The area is unique both in its size and in the variety of its sandstone formations, it forms a wonderful labyrinth of cliffs with beautiful rock needles rising up to 70 meters high. There are two well-marked circular routes for visitors through the so-called Small and Great Walls. The rock town and its surroundings are perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing.

We spent a very, very quiet night here in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by beautiful nature.
Our evening by the campfire was lovely — it’s just a pity we didn’t have time to explore more parts of the nature wonder Czech Switzerland. One thing is sure: we’ll definitely come back.

If you haven’t booked your pitch in advance, you can also do so at the hotel reception, which is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Please note that there are no showers or facilities for gray water or chemical toilet disposal — Park Ostrov is truly a Wild Card place. When visiting the rock town Tiské Stěny, keep in mind that it’s forbidden to enter the area outside the marked paths, and an entrance fee is charged during the summer season.
