A fantastic camper stop in a historical area
Parkoviště Stachelberg is a parking area specifically for campers, close to the Stachelberg Artillery Fortress. This is a significant pre-WWII Czechian fortification near Trutnov, and it is now a military history museum. Surrounding the museum are trails, bunkers, and the Eliška observation tower. It is a fascinating area and well worth spending a night or two at the camper parking to absorb the history and explore the trails.
