Beautiful, private area, perfect for relaxing overnight stays
This is a private camping area on a Swedish farm located along an inlet of the Abyfjord. The last part of the journey is non-paved but easily accessible. You pass the typical wooden farm dwelling painted in red and green.
This site offers day spots and 4 nice places along the water edge for staying overnight. There is a nice little marina on site, you can swim from the jetties using the ladders.
You are requested to visit the farmers house for check-in and paying the overnight fee, cash only (possible in euros).
They are a friendly couple explaining their way of living, organizing duck hunts and water training for hunting dogs. The workshop and its utensils show you how self-reliant you need to be, living in a remote location like this.
The spot is close to the zoo Nordens Ark, a nice place to explore with kids!
