The surroundings here are simply stunning – it is like looking at a postcard wherever you turn. You can easily spend a week at this campsite doing nothing but sitting, relaxing, and admiring the scenery. However, if you want to see these views from every possible angle, you can spend some time hiking in the surrounding peaks. The lake is also the perfect temperature for a summer dip. Compared to some of the lakeside campsites in Austrian, this one is on the smaller side so is a good choice if you would rather avoid the masses of crowds of tourists, especially in peak season.
