Beautifully located campsite between a canal and the Schlosspark
This gorgeous, green campsite has all the facilities you could possibly need to make the very most of your holiday, whether you want to be active or you just want to sit back and relax. The canal runs directly through the camp and it's possible to pitch directly on the water. It's also really convenient if you've brought your paddle board or kayak as you don't need to carry it very far at all.
Privacy and Relaxation is the Spirit of Spreewald
If you're looking for a place to slow down and recharge for your next trip, head to Spree Wild Camping. Welcome to Brandenburg's paradise for paddlers and nature lovers. The large campsite offers plenty of privacy on spacious sites with their own water, electricityand waste disposal separated by mature ornamental grass and trees. — If you don't have your own, you can hire all kinds of equipment from the reception. There's a little bakery on site and a cafe too. It is hard to find an excuse to leave this peaceful and relaxing camp.
The campsite is situated in close proximity to the picturesque town of Lübbenau, which is a vibrant open-air museum — the Venice of Germany. The River Spree spills into dozens of canals in the area, and you can extend them by canoe or paddleboard right from the shore at the campsite.
The Staff is Always Very Helpful
The overall atmosphere is calm. For children there is a sandpit with wooden houses. There is a vending machine with sausages and clubs too. One of the campsites where we can recommend you a visit weather you are a single traveller, couple or a family.
Grown up trees and greenery everywhere. Even the toilet walls, made of glass, are green. And, you would not believe it, theres a relaxing music playing in the showers to complete your hapiness. Oh and in the evening the campsite smells nicely, possibly a spray against mosquitoes, or just another detail to make your stay a happy one.
Super clean toilets in 2 buildings, modern design, even in mid-summer there is no queue for a shower — you get a wristband at the reception. One downside is, that WiFi is apparently for a small fee.
