This is one of the most photographed places in Lofoten and we can wholeheartedly say with good reason! Uttakleiv Beach is the place where you can watch the midnight sun in summer all night and never see it set down below the horizon. It is a magical experience that will become a cherished memory.

This is a great place for camping in tents and enjoying outdoor barbecues

The grass area in front of the beach is great for tents with stunning views. You can also set up a barbecue in several places provided.

There are fantastic beaches to visit wherever you choose to drive in this gorgeous area of the country.

Uttakleiv Beach, Hauklandstranda Beach, and Vík Beach – all only around the corner. You can also visit the Lofotr museum in the inland of the island.

There are also hiking trails to the Hauklanda beach. Lots of free-grazing sheep around complete the scenery

There are only basic services in the camper park.

Due to the nature of this spot, there are only limited services available: cold water, toilets, sinks for washing the dishes, and garbage bins. The ground is very uneven, so leveling your car is a challenge.

Well worth it!

Although this spot has only limited services for campers, the view is magnificent and it's worth a visit. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the beaches, the views and the midnight sun.
