There is also camera surveillance for added security during your stay. At the heart of the campsite is a unique and traditionally decorated restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner made from seasonal and local products. Many of the ingredients come directly from the campsite’s own organic garden and are cooked with love.

The quality is excellent, and the taste is delicious. You can enjoy your meal inside or on the beautifully arranged terrace overlooking the water. The restaurant also sells local products like olive oil, honey, wine and jam.

Enjoy the waters of the Drin river

The Drin River invites you to swim, paddleboard, or kayak (you can rent one at the campsite) and explore the stunning nature of northern Albania. Or you can try your luck with fishing – or simply relax at the pier and watch for birds, fish, or even water snakes.

If you want to discover the breathtaking nature surrounding Agora Farmhouse, you can book one of the great guided tours offered by the campsite. How about visiting the mysterious Pigeon Cave or Shurllahu Island? Or kayaking upstream along the wonderful Shala River? These places are truly unforgettable.

Albania’s hidden gem – Lake Koman

Agora Farmhouse Camping

Agora Farmhouse Camping

Lake Koman is a dam lake built in the 1980s in the canyon of the Drin River. The impressive dam is 115 meters high, and the lake itself is surrounded by forested hills, vertical cliffs, deep gorges, and narrow valleys. You might feel like you're in Norway rather than in Albania.
You can enjoy an unforgettable journey on this beautiful lake from Koman to Fierzë, either with a small boat or one of the larger ferries. They even take campers on board, allowing you to enjoy the incredible nature and then continue your journey to the lush, narrow Valbona Valley or even to Kosovo.

At 285 km, the Drin River is the longest river in Albania and also flows through Kosovo and North Macedonia.

On its bank lies the lovely Agora Farmhouse Camping – a perfect spot to spend the night before embarking on your Lake Koman adventure.

Ambassador’s Opinion

We stayed at Agora Farmhouse Camping before our ferry trip on Lake Koman.

Both the campsite and the journey were unforgettable Albanian experiences, and we can only warmly recommend them to you. We felt very safe and welcomed at the campsite. And the ferry ride – wow – we didn’t expect such beauty and an Oriental flair.

Be advised

The road from Shkodra can be challenging – narrow, steep, with many curves and occasional rough surfaces – but the drive is absolutely worth it.
