Make sure you pack your watersport gear, as Eagle Point is the perfect place for water-based activities. In normal weather conditions, it's a great place for beginners of all kinds of sports to get onto the water for the first time. And for the experienced paddler, there are plenty of challenges along the Eagle Point coastline.

Eagle Point is also a great location for those who want to discover the area. The riches of West Cork and South Kerry are right on your doorstep.

Centrally located near all important South Irish sites and on their proper peninsula with their own slipway , everybody must love this camping. Right on the water with a beautiful sheltered coastline, pebble beaches and rock pools make for long fun filled days.

The pitches are spread along terraced plots with electrical hookups.

Pitches are grass or hardstanding. The layout is beautiful, all pitches have bay view. An ‘adult only’ section of plots is available if you prefer a night without the kids around.

Reception is friendly and informative giving you a lot of tourist leaflets. There are 3 modern sanitary blocks spread over the terrain with fresh water points and grey water dumps. 3 TV rooms on site, one for adults. Tennis courts, football and basketball are foreseen.

The water sport section is beautifully arranged around some giant trees, we loved it there.

At the entrance of the site there is a fuel station with a small but well stocked Centra supermarket and hot food deli. Pubs and cafes are within walking distance.

The town of Bantry is about 10 min drive from the campsite, it is a pleasant fishermans town with some great pubs and a fantastic butcher selling real Irish wagyu beef!

Bantry is the gateway for exploring the rest of the peninsula with Mizen Head, Crookhaven etc. Glengariff National Park is within easy reach as well. A true haven ready for exploring.
