Alberobello is a sleepy town in the centre of Puglia, one of the southern provinces of Italy.
Puglia is well known amongst foodies for its excellent cuisine, the zero kilometer kitchen (locally produced ingredients) and good wines at decent prices…
We recommend in Martina Franca the Osteria de Coco Pazzo Stefano, Via Arco Mastrovito 18.
Alberobello is most known for the Valley of the Trulli, a Unesco World Heritage Listed Valley of the traditional local houses with typical stone roofs (flat stones placed in cirkels without cement). It is a major tourist attraction, particularly visited at sunset, so expect lots of people. Restaurants and bars with roof terraces are the most popular. Try the back streets to have an authentic experience.
Camping Bosco Selva is located at easy biking distance from the Valley of the Trulli (10 min). It is a nice ride through the olive groves and there is plenty of place for securely parking your bike.
Bosco Selva is a real nature camping with good facilities and a friendly welcome. Ask for a map to make your trip to the Valley more easy.
