A fantastic coastal location and plenty of entertainment on offer
Fancy waking up to a breathtaking view of the Adriatic Sea and letting the sound of the waves lull you to sleep? Then it might be time to head to Camping Cala Batteria. This quiet campsite is located about three kilometres from the town of Bisceglie (a five-minute drive), on a low coastal plateau.
A short walk will take you right to the beach, and while it's not an endless expanse of golden sand (loungers and umbrellas sit on a bed of granite), the crystal-clear waters more than make up for it. Other beaches with pebbles or a mix of pebbles and granite slabs are a five-minute walk away. If you want to explore Puglia's beautiful coastline by bike, a cycle path passes right by the campsite and runs along the seafront.

The spacious areas on site, shaded by tall maritime pines, are equipped with service points for campers, connections for waste disposal and disposal of chemical products, and the campsite also has a service block with toilets and showers, with accessible facilities for disabled guests. The staff, always friendly and helpful, organise entertainment and activities, ranging from yoga sessions accompanied by the sea breeze (and the sea view) to evenings animated by local musical performances, without forgetting the dinners based on typical regional dishes. In Bisceglie there are also fish restaurants and pizzerias, as well as several supermarkets (the closest is a 15-minute walk away).
