Amazing place between two National Parks

In Montenegro, you can find two truly fabulous national parks — Durmitor and Biogradska Gora. The breathtaking Durmitor National Park was formed by glaciers and is crossed by rivers and underground streams. One of the highlights is the Tara River Canyon which should be the deepest gorge in Europe. Durmitor National Park is deservedly listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The wonderful Biogradska Gora National Park is located within the Kolasin municipality, known for its pristine nature. It is recognized as one of the sites of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves. The landscape is shaped by mountain ridges, glacial lakes, and mysterious forests.

Camp n'Soul Mountain View is a wonderful campsite located south of Durmitor National Park and west of Biogradska Gora National Park, nestled between the villages of Lipovo, Plana, and Blatina. It’s a brand-new site, built in 2022 by the proud owner, Mr. Tschira, in the meadows around his house.

Guests can use one of the three spotless bathrooms, each with a private toilet and shower, as well as picnic tables, a BBQ area, a common room (to be modernized next year), and a laundry area with local products for sale and plenty of useful tips for your stay.

Mr. Tschira is available most of the time at the campsite, and his friendly, helpful nature will make you feel very welcome. There are many possibilities for enjoying your stay — several nice hikes start directly from the site, and many other activities are nearby, making this campsite a perfect base for a longer stay in the stunning nature of northern Montenegro.

We stayed one night at Camp n'Soul before heading to the fabulous mountains of Durmitor National Park

We really appreciated the clean bathrooms and the covered picnic area in front of the campsite, especially since we didn’t have much luck with the weather. Nevertheless, we spent here a pleasant afternoon and night during our tour through Montenegro.

Be advised

The road to Camp n'Soul Mountain View can be a bit adventurous, but it is manageable even for larger vehicles. There is no grey-water or chemical toilet disposal available, which makes this site a truly wild card spot. Please note that dogs are not allowed at the campsite.
Check in possible in the morning and evening, not between 11am and 5pm.
