The fully automatic entry system will save you time on arrival. The place offers all the basic necessities like fresh water and grey water disposal. Dogs are welcome too. And if you’re lucky enough to grab a spot in the front row (which runs along three sides of the area, so your chances are pretty good!), you’ll get a beautiful view of the sea, the port of Carro, or Cap Couronne with its lighthouse – especially magical at sunrise.

Sometimes you can even watch the fishermen arrive with their haul, while customs officers check the size and other details of the catch.
Don’t miss the chance to watch locals play pétanque – the traditional game of the South of France.
Carro also has some great restaurants, a small supermarket, and a boulangerie – all just a few minutes’ walk from the camper parking. Take a stroll around the cute little port with its colourful boats! And don’t forget to grab a beer at Cercle St. Pierre, the locals’ pub, where tourists are warmly welcomed too.
