Coombe Caravan Park is a wonderful destination for caravaning and camping. Opened in 1981, Brian and Margaret have developed what was a plain field into the beautifully landscaped site it is today with hundreds of trees and shrubs, providing privacy and shielding. Their annual floral displays are stunning. It's close to Salisbury and the racecourse is just next door, so if you fancy a flutter on the horses, check the racing calendar and plan your visit accordingly! The New Forest is also a short drive away. A real forget me not caravan park!

When you visit Coombe Caravans, take time to admire the unusual containers found around the site. Brian plants over 7500 bedding plants each year! This gives the park a well maintained and welcoming feel throughout.
A playground and large open play area allows for children to mix for a game of basketball, football, cricket or outdoor table tennis for all ages.
There are also fully serviced Holiday Homes, as well as touring pitches and places for touring caravans.
Coombe Caravan Park
The touring pitches are really well thought out – each spot is spacious, with a lovely grassy area, but the land that you stand on is gravelled, so you never have to worry about being surrounded by mud as you step in and out of your home on wheels. This is fantastic, especially for England, which can be a little wet at times!
Coombe Caravan Park
The facilities here are exceptional. As well as the usual, such as water, electricity and dumping, there is a wonderful room called The Camper’s Kitchen.
Coombe Caravan Park
This space provides electric hobs (on a £1 meter), microwave, and a sink to enable you to prepare and cook food indoors should the weather turn unpleasant. You will need to use your own pots and pans and utensils.
Coombe Caravan Park
It feels like a home away from home, and the facilities are something special
Coombe Caravan Park
The seating area, inside and out, has enough space for up to 80 people. There is also a well-equipped shop, barbeque area, playground, laundry room, and a little tourist information room at the entrance.
This is a great spot. The area is really quiet and though it is close enough to the city for a day trip it is not close enough to feel like you are anywhere near civilisation. The extra facilities are excellent and it was great to have a hard-standing pitch as we were here at the start of winter, so it was great to not worry about the mud!
You will be ready for your next outdoor stay. With our famous freecamping map of Europe and map of Toll fees in each country. Plus a free eBook to learn about camping and work-life balance.
