An incredible, beautiful setting to enjoy the lake and hike the mountains
Gryta Camping is a beautiful place to just relax and enjoy your holiday. The scenery is idyllic, looking out over Lake Oldevatnet which is surrounded by mountains. It is a literal picture postcard setting! The campsite has various equipment available so that guests can get out on the water and make the very most of the lake, including SUP boards, canoes and boats. There are also hammocks dotted around if you want to lay around and soak up this amazing environment. If you fancy a little action, there is a swimming area in the lake, as well as fishing opportunities. This site is also the perfect starting point for the trip up Gytridalen to Storesteinen and Gytrifossen. You will also find many other nice mountain hikes in Oldedalen.
