Hollands Wood Campsite makes you feel as though you are wild camping in the forest, but with all the comfort and amenities of staying on an organised campsite. It is quite unique in offering an amalgamation of both of these styles of camping! On arrival, you will be met at the gate by a friendly member of staff who explains the rules and regulations of the site and checks you in. This is mainly because this campsite has an open boundary to the national park of the New Forest, and the wildlife treats the campsite as an extension of their home!

A really wonderful forested site in the national park
Even though we traveled here during peak summer holidays, this campsite didn’t feel at all crowded. We loved being tucked into the forest with a view of the national park, and the horses strolling past our van was the icing on the cake.
You will be ready for your next outdoor stay. With our famous freecamping map of Europe and map of Toll fees in each country. Plus a free eBook to learn about camping and work-life balance.
