The most friendly welcome to a wonderful pub with a very thoughtful camping spot

An incredibly friendly welcome is guaranteed at Parlamentwirt, a traditional Austrian pub along the famous cider road close to the Danube. The places for campers are extremely well organised – there is a designated separate carpark, thoughtfully arranged to allow space for 5 campers, which allows each spot plenty of room. The owner made it clear that additional spaces are always available in the regular parking area too, but these spots may be needed during the day.

There is electricity and water supplies at the campers' area, and a fridge stocked full of local delicacies.

A couple of picnic benches are set here too under a vine-covered shelter so you can sit here and enjoy everything on offer!

There are some great cycling paths leading directly from the pub, so if you have your bikes strapped to your camper, you might like to spend a couple of nights here. If you have an electric bike, you can set it charging here.

You do not need to worry about cooking during your stay either, as the food in the pub is excellent! Tuesdays are Schnitzel Tag, where you can have a fantastic Schnitzel for a bargain.

We were also treated to a free drink during our stay, an unexpected and lovely bonus!

If you would like a breakfast before you depart, just ask the owner and she will happily prepare something for you.

Absolutely wonderful camper spot!

We would definitely come back to this amazing pub! The owner knows how to host and you will feel SO welcome here. It feels like nothing is too much trouble for her. We will be sure to stay on a Monday or Tuesday again though to have another schnitzel.
