This municipal-run campsite has 24 official spots for campers and a lot more for tents.

Upon arrival, you are escorted to your spot and connected to the grid, upon demand. The sanitary block is fine, there are clean showers with plenty of hot water.

Fresh water and grey/ black water disposal are also available. Next to the campsite is a small supermarket with basic necessities, and a fancy rooftop ‘gastrobar’ is just outside the grounds.

You can cycle for miles into the nature reserve, a really splendid ride along a fancy golfcourt and the beach

Take the convenient ferry shuttle to Faro town, several times a day (a 20min boat ride). Faro town has a small historic walled center and the commercial part has some nice cobbled streets and good restaurants.

This is a well-organized municipal-run campground with decent sanitary blocks. The location on the peninsula gives you an instant holiday feeling.

The ferry to the historic part of the city and the nature reserve definitely are a plus. The close proximity to the airport is also great!
