Camp directly in vineyard – If you are self-contained you are allowed to choose a spot in the vineyard.

Helshoven is a free camper spot but you might try a bottle of their locally produced wine
You have to notify Geert, the manager, so he can prepare the site for incoming visitors. Guests have the option of standing on the central grounds where they could have their ‘Take Away’ being served and use electricity for the van (to be paid).

Within walking distance, you find the little ‘Hells Heaven’ chapel. The construction is made of cherry tree wood and is literally floating amidst the fruit orchards.

The site is especially appealing during the fruit blooming season (April/May) and during harvesting season of the fruits and vines (September)
Shop for local products – sandwiches, fruits, ice cream and drinks are available
Don't waste time with cooking
For the ‘routards de luxe’ there is a nice restaurant on site “Johannietershuys” and if you want a drink or fun evening out there is a lounge bar offering local wines and famous Belgian beers.

For kids there is a fenced garden with donkeys, sheep and alpacas.

Helshoven has some nice wooden ‘barrel' cabanas for sleepovers too. Toilets and wash basins are in a separate accommodation for these guests.
