An incredible spot tucked away on the riverside in a lovely village

This area for campervans and mobile homes at Cambon-et-Salvergues is so well thought out and taken care of by the village. It is like a small campsite, tucked into the green and on the side of the river. The spots are incredibly spacious, all the facilities are here including a shower, and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful.

There is a bar-be-que area for campers to use, and a room stands at the end of the camping area with chopped wood.

Cambon-et-Salvergues Camper Park

The toilet and shower room is just next to the Mayor’s house, which is a stone’s throw from the camper spots. Along side the spaces is a large, green park, and the spots themselves have a few trees and are bordered by hedges. It is so comfortable here, if you only plan to come for a night you will no doubt end up staying longer!

The whole area is welcoming and there are signs throughout the village for hiking areas and points of interest. You can have easily have a walk into the forest or along the edge of the fields. There are also a couple of restaurants in the village.

Picturesque and peaceful

This spot is fantastic! We felt like we were staying on a small, quiet and private campsite. The facilities provided by the village are outstanding and we ended up staying here for a few nights instead of just the one that we planned

Be advised

You should be able to pay for your time here at a parking ticket machine at the entrance to the camping area. However, during our stay here this machine was out of order. If this is the case, the mayor's office is just across the street from the camper park, so you can pop in there to pay.
