Even if you don't catch the first line, there is a beautiful view from almost any spot. Every pitch has water and electric connection (16 Amp!). Due to the terraced design even in peak periods Area de autocaravanas de Kobetamendi feels relaxed and not overly crowded. Be advised that max stay is 2 days.

Adjacent to the camper area is a very nice and spacious park, ideal for morning / evening walks and letting your children unwind after time spent on the road.
Service area – x2 for your comfort
Great feature is having two grey water & chemical toilets disposal areas facing each other. When you met clever campers, you can even speed the proces up by featuring 4 cars there (4 toilet disposals in total).

Reception – hit or miss
Check in experience depends on how many campers are in line and which crew is on the clock. Can be smooth or pretty annoying process, so prepare for everything and don't let this spoil your experience.

You can buy fresh bread from reception (plus some more goodies – water, milk, ice and some snacks).
City access
Although it is not directly in the city center, there is a bus that takes you down (and most importantly – back up!) for €1.35 and passes every 20 minutes or so right below the camper area. It is a walkable to the city center too…

We would say one of the must do stops on the Spanish northern coast. Has its quirks, but views on Bilbao and atmosphere in general are definitely worth a visit. Great park nearby to let your kids out.
