Domaine d’Anglas is an organic vineyard that operates a beautiful campground. You can visit the vineyard and learn all about organic wine making. The 6km ‘Sentier de vigneron’ walk around the Domain gives a good impression of the neighbourhood. Domaine d’ Anglas rents bungalows, square tents and ‘pipo’ wagons. All come with loungers and hammocks in between the trees. There’s a ‘gite’, a typical stone house, for 6 people to rent. Plots are spacious and vary from 100 to 120m2.

Located in Brissac, a small village 30km north of Montpellier, France. The Cevennes region is a rural, hilly area with lots of trees, vineyards and some steep rocks with caves and canyons. The area feels like you imagine rural France… small, laid back communities where time came to halt.

The camping is beautifully laid along the Herault river, direct view is limited though. There is possibility to hire canoes and kayaks in the village and paddle along the river, pickup transport is provided after the trip.

The emphasis is clearly on the bio/organic way of life. The campsite was the Winner in the 2020 Wine Tourism Trophy.The vineyards are kept in their natural way, no cutting/weeding nor pesticides. Everything has a very ‘natural’ feeling.

Domaine d’ Anglas features2 modern sanitary blocks with (family)showers, toilets and wash basins. Washing machines, dish washing stations and a dumping station for campervans are provided. There are about 50 camping spots, all with electricity and water on the plot. General waste is collected and sorted at the entrance.

Main attraction is the natural swimming pool
A 300m2 basin invites you for a nice swim, no chemicals used. The entire swimming pool area is fenced off and child protected but feels airy with a splendid mountain view.

The few algues on the slopes and bottom all make it more natural. Enjoy the few fishes!
Tree shaded restaurant, bar and lounge area
There is a nice tree shaded restaurant bar/lounge area with view on the natural pool and the surrounding mountain range. The restaurant serves crispy pizzas, Cevennes-burgersand salads as well as their organic wines.

The little shop annex reception area sells a wide variety of their wines, free from sulfides ranging from 9€ to 13€ as well as a few other products.Bread and croissants can be ordered a day in advance and is ready for pick up at 9 am the next morning.

For grown ups there are Ping-Pong tables, a BBQ area, the inevitable ‘jeu de boules’ field (petanque), a football and volleyball court. For kids: space for roaming around and two nice playgrounds with wooden toys.
