This campsite (formerly named La Vallée Verte) is situated in the Gard department, a terrain of 30 hectares along the Cèze river. This terraced camp site has a nice mix of wooden cabins with all modern amenities and camping spots for vans and campers with private fridges(!). All plots are large and electrified, the premium spots have view on the river. There is a fantastic, relaxing atmosphere throughout the site making it hard to leave when your holiday is over!

The lifestyle concept is reflected in the nice website and even their own Slow Radio App! As soon as you enter the campsite, you will start to feel your stress ebb away.

Slow Village Provence Occitanie – feel the relaxing holiday vibes!

The pitches are nice and spacious. Fresh water is available at designated spots throughout the camp. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to dump your grey water, though toilet cassettes can be emptied at the sanitary block.

The sanitary block is an open air, canopy shielded tent with showers, sinks and toilets. Everything is very clean and open aired, giving you the real feeling of an outdoor shower with all the comfort.

The reception/bar area is very cosy and welcoming, fresh bread and pastries available in the morning.

There is a multicourt, playground and petanque fields, as well as an attractive pool with a toboggan for the kids. Next to the pool area there is a sandy beach area for lounging. The river can be accessed directly from the campsite and the grassy field next to it makes for a popular and refreshing ‘river beach’.

A very well-thought-out campsite

We liked the ‘return to nature’ philosophy and as we are ‘nomadic de luxe'.. we appreciated the little details such as the fridge, music and artificial beach with loungers. The nice pool was the cherry on the cake on hot summer days! The secluded location permits you to slow down and detox from hectic urban life. Lovely pool area and great view over the river.

Secluded natural location, so come prepared and well stocked up. The campsite tries to provide you with everything but there is no supermarket in the close neighbourhood.
