Camping Le Riou Merle is located in the small town of Die, in the Drôme departement, right in the National Park of Vergers. The campsite has a real orchard feeling, you park your camper van under the fruit trees, on mostly grass pitches and enjoy a relaxing time. Electricity is available at every spot. The surrounding rolling hills give the site a lush green feeling. Fresh air coming from the Alpes gives you a cool breeze in summer.

The reception is friendly and multilingual, providing you with all local information, and the whole site is well run. The sanitary block is airy and very clean, dumping station and fresh water available.

At the entrance there is a cosy restaurant/bar for a lively evening with pizzas, burgers and fries, take out is possible as well. The campsite has a nice open air swimming pool to cool off and a playground for the kids.

There are a few bars and authentic small shops and the town has a real ‘Provence’ feeling. There are a few mountain rivers in the vicinity so kayak and canoe are a big thing here, tours are organized to bring you to the starting point after the descend.
