Running along side the campsite is a stream, and the grassy area next to the stream is occupied by a few friendly goats.

We were camped just in front of this area and it was lovely to see the goats first thing in the morning. If you cross the stream, there is a fantastic, huge grassy green park, it goes on for as far as the eye can see. There are a few play areas spread among the area, small assault courses, picnic benches, and paths to walk. It is a really nice area and a treat to have adjacent to the campsite.

A small pool is also next to the reception area, which is closed out of season but provides a lovey chance to cool down during the summer. The whole site provides a nice walk and the tents on offer for a glamping night or two are fabulous!

Ambassador’s Opinion

Wonderful green surroundings

The huge park across the stream neighbouring the campsite is a fantastic spot to have a walk, take your lunch, or bring your kids to enjoy the climbing structures. The campsite has everything on site that you need to relax and enjoy your stay! We particularly liked seeing the goats out of our window.

Be advised

If you are traveling around in the ‘closed' season, it is worth getting in touch with this campsite to see if they are still accepting campers. We spent a night here during their closed season – facilities are limited and the pool isn't open but it's still a great spot!
