Even the largest campers will have room to spread out on the plots at this campsite.
It is so nice to have such large spaces. There is a mixture of small open fields and sectioned-off plots with hedges on 3 sides. When you check in, you will be given a map and told which spots are available, then you are invited to take a walk around and see which spot you prefer.

Camping Les Cerisiers
After you have chosen, you complete your check-in with the incredibly friendly owners, and move to your spot! The campsite reception has a very small shop inside, which stocks essential groceries in case you have forgotten anything.

Camping Les Cerisiers
There is also a bread service so you can order fresh for the next day. If you forget to do this, there is a bakery in the town, which is only a 15 minutes walk away. You can follow the road back down, or take the hiking path that leads through the forest from the campsite, directly back to the town.

Camping Les Cerisiers
As well as this hiking path to the town, there are loads of other walks you can do of varying difficulty and length. One that is definitely worth doing is the hike up the hill that overlooks the campsite.

Camping Les Cerisiers
It reaches 1000m high and you have an outstanding view of the surrounding mountains from up here. It is challenging, but certainly possible for most people if you have moderate fitness.

Camping Les Cerisiers
After finishing one of the hikes, you can head back to the campsite for a dip in the pool, or a session in the sauna and jacuzzi!

Camping Les Cerisiers
The facilities here are really well-kept and there is everything here that you need. Laundry is available for just €4. There is no dryer, but there are drying racks that you can borrow and set up at your camp. It is really dark and quiet at night. Also, you will probably see vultures flying overhead during your stay here!
