Peace and seclusion in the vineyards of Italy

This is a true hidden gem in the vineyards of Italy. It seems to be almost new and has been carefully prepared to make campers feel welcome here. Two large, flat spots are clearly marked, and a third area is set aside for grey disposal and filling up. The spots have been constructed to give campers the most amazing view of the incredible surrounding scenery. You may not want to leave after spending some time here!

Next to the camper spots is a drinking water tap and a barbeque for everybody’s use. A large, wooden gazebo has been built with picnic tables under the shelter, providing excellent shade for the hot summer days.

Besides the rural location and the complete escape from civilization that this spot provides, another selling point is the view. A lovely church looks down on the camper area, and to the front of the spots the sun sets over the rolling hills.

During the day you may see the occasional dog-walker or farm worker depending on the season.

Of course, it can not be too easy to access a secluded spot like this! There are two possible routes to get to this spot and you do not want to drive past the first entrance up towards the church…

Instead, as you drive through the village, keep your eyes peeled on the left and take the steep but easy road behind the small restaurant to the spot. If you want an even steeper, off-road adventure, keep going to the church access road!
