The detour from the NC500 to the beautiful area of Kinlochbervie is not to be missed!

Kinlochbervie Loch Clash Campervan Stopover
The region is known for its white beaches, green hills, and peaceful atmosphere. One of the most beautiful beaches in Scotland, Oldshoremore Beach, is nearby. Above the beach, on a gentle hill, lies the old Robert Ross Cemetery, which has an authentic Scottish feel.

The beach itself is large, with incredible white sand and wild rocks surrounding it.
Highland cows and sheep are often seen grazing near the edges of the beach. Unfortunately, overnight parking is not allowed at the Oldshoremore car parking, but it's a perfect spot for a daytime visit. Take a swim, relax, and then drive back to Kinlochbervie to the Loch Clash Campervan Stopover.

The stopover has space for 10 campervans, with five pitches offering electricity. Toilets, showers, a washing machine, and a tumble dryer are located nearby in the village harbour’s Fish Market building.

This place is a great spot for sea fishing, paddleboarding, swimming, birdwatching, or simply spending a splendid night by the sea.

The campervan park is not isolated — there’s a good chance you'll meet some friendly locals who are happy to share their fishing tips. And even if you don’t catch anything, you won’t go hungry!
There are two good dining options in the village: the authentic Worth a Look bistro near the Spar grocery store, and The Quay House restaurant further along the main harbour.
