This is a beautiful, secure spot, where you can park up directly on the lakefront, just a meter or two from the beach. The views from the door of your camper do not get much better, and you can enjoy the sun setting over the lake each evening.

Lake Pareloup Camper Park
Water, electricity, and disposal are included in the fee, and there are a couple of houses with toilets and showers at different ends of the site. It is a really big area, and the spots for campers are spread over three different levels.

There are no bad spots here, each one is incredibly spacious and offers a superb view! In the hottest months, the only thing to choose from will be that some spots offer more shade than others.

Lake Pareloup is popular for water sports and there are areas around its edge where you can rent jetskis and other things.

These activities are seasonal though, and other campsites around the lake’s edge are only open for the summer months. Therefore, this camper stop is a lovely treat to discover in the off-season, especially during autumn and spring when the weather is still warm enough to jump in the lake for a swim!

We think this might be one of the best camper stops we have stayed in, in terms of value for money and location. We had a spot right on the beach and since it’s a completely private place, there is no road or passing traffic to notice. We planned to stay one night and ended up staying much longer!
There is not a shop within walking distance so arrive with your supplies! There is a supermarket within a 10 minute drive of the spot. Also, BYO toilet paper.
