Just behind the camper park on the very top of the hill is the old church of the village. From this vantage point, you can see even further.

From here, you can walk down into the village. It is small, quiet, and friendly. There is a cafe, which is where you pay the parking fee, where staff speak a little English and German.
The area is beautiful and the village is so welcoming

At the end of the village is a small supermarket, which is just a 10 minute walk from your camper and has everything you need to stay a few days. There are also public toilets in a few locations, including one just a few meters away from the camper park attached to the sports facilities.

Electricity and water are provided at this spot, as well as grey water emptying and filling. There is also a free WiFi connection, which we were able to use on our laptop but unfortunately, it was not strong enough for our phones to connect. This is nothing to complain about though!

The WiFi signal is strong in the village, so if you need to be online with your phone, go and grab a coffee at the cafe and enjoy.
Mombarcaro Camper Park
It is such a quiet spot, especially at night. Though there is a road below, it hardly has any traffic and nothing passing by after dark. There are also no big cities providing light pollution.
It is a great spot to enjoy a starry night.
