This campsite is in the famous Wachau region of Austria, an area so worthy of conservation that is has been deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Wachau is a 35-kilometre-long cross valley of the Danube. It’s an area of monasteries, castles, and picturesque villages, as well as a gorgeous landscape.
The campsite is situated away from busy roads on a level area of the Danube bank, planted with fruit trees and directly facing Dürnstein, probably the most famous location of the Wachau. It has 60 pitches and a modern sanitary block.
