Do Something Great
It’s here! We are planning our second big trip. And want to try something new. I will shoot a couple of videos on our trip. It will be a challenge – I have never filmed anything more than our kids. Fingers crossed.

June 2012 we spent with my family in southern Europe — in Croatian Camping Split. It was a crucial experience. It has showed us, that it would be possible to life half a year in a caravan. Very easily.
Buying a caravan usually is a life-changer. With my family we have not only enhanced our traveling, but significantly changed our life attitude. We are throwing away things we don’t like and are focusing on things we do like.
I’ve just completed a driver’s license for big trailer. Yeah! Only the item plant a tree is remaining on my bucket list of a good father. Also, I’m considering to replace our expensive BMW with a 4×4 AWD Truck with limited electronics. Anyway, let’s dive in camping photos and tips for camping beginners.
This is an awesome moment. Since autumn 2011 me & my wife were actively searching for the perfect caravan. We’ve visited several shops with used trailers. The switch to becoming a digital nomad required this. And it’s coming now. The crazy idea is becoming real.
The one who wants something, looks for a way & the one who does not want, looks for a reason. That was my approach to the caravan idea. I wanted to solve this maze, this unanswered question. As the caravan looks like a great solution for family travels. Kids are growing fast and I don’t want to miss…
I was looking up all the complex rules of caravanning in Europe – weight allowances, driver’s license, and all the legal regulations. It’s a little bit more complicated than I thought. The good thing is that it’s all covered under a single set of EU laws. This is what I found.
I couldn’t resist. I’ve got ton of information about caravans from YouTube and other sources online. I’ve drove around my town to see used travel trailers in reality. I’ve subscribed to printed magazines. I must say, I got hooked quick.
During our travels around Europe, I’ve noticed, that many people tow Caravans and others drive large RVs. There were plenty of them in the south. And so I began thinking. The single most surprising thing was the economy of all this.
I’ve always liked hotels. You just get there & everybody awaits your orders. Non-Stop. And you disappear as quickly as that, without need to wash dishes or make up bed. And then – everything changes after our kids are born.
