A free parking spot at the end of the town
This dedicated area for campervans and motorhomes allows plenty of space for 5 vehicles to stand. The parking spots are on one side of the carpark, overlooking the lovely gardens of a large and historic monastery.
A river runs just across the road and there are many hiking paths to choose from too that take you away from the roads and immerse you in nature. Everything is provided here for campers for free, including water, electricity, toilets, and even WiFi. It's ideally located for a stopover but you can easily end up staying here for a couple of days. There's a supermarket within walking distance too and within the center of the town, which is just a 5-minute walk from the parking, you can find restaurants, cafes, and takeaways if you don't fancy cooking.
All of these facilities for free are such a treat and a rare find in Austria.
